4 Outback Odyssey Photos to inspire you

Every two years, Bike SA heads to the Outback for our pilgrimage known as the Outback Odyssey, which goes 900 kilometres along the Mawson Trail all the way from Adelaide to Blinman. Here's some happy snaps of the trip.

1. Razorback Ridge

This is the money shot that everyone can't hestitate taking... and there's a good reason why.

2. View from Rawnsley Station

Nothing beats chilling out with the bicycle. This is the view on Rawnsley Park Station up in the Flinders Ranges.

3. Getting to Blinman

Here's a happy snap taken when two of our participants made it after 900 kilometres of sweat, mud and tears. You just have to ride yourself to know what it feels like.

4. The winding road...

Ah..... spot the cyclists. You'll see plenty of this kind of landscape along the way. Breathtaking to say the least.

Want to take part in the Outback Odyssey? Join Bicycle SA for an adventure of a life-time - 900 kilometres along the epic Mawson Trail from 9-24 May 2015. This epic ride will take you through the Australian Outback, one of the most spectacular places on earth. With 600 million years of secrets waiting to be revealed, it's home to one of the greatest adventures of your life.  It's not as much a challenge as it is a life-changing experience!

  1. Hi. Maree and I just completed the "Flinders Ranges By Bike" route over the Easter Weekend. It was an incredible ride taking in some amazing scenery. Some of the rocky sections are a little bit technical but we had 4 days of fantastic riding.
