Travel Grants are a great way to unlock funding for services such as Bike SA courses.
The South Australian Department of Planning,
Transport and Infrastructure, in partnership with the Motor Accident
Commission, is offering grants for groups and organisations to deliver small
scale projects that support safer, greener and more active travel choices.
Projects can focus on improving road safety, getting people cycling, walking or
catching public transport, replacing car journeys with technology, doing things
locally, or using the car smarter.
Many successful grant applicants have included the services of Bike SA in their project briefs, including delivery of commuter education, training, and bike fleet services. If you would like to know more about the types of services that Bike SA offers, and to get some ideas about any cycling related projects you dream up, check out our suite at www.bikesa.asn.au/Course-home for services categorised for individuals, workplaces, councils and schools.
For more information about the grants, visit www.dpti.sa.gov.au/communityprograms, e-mail DPTI.CommunityGrants@sa.gov.au or call (08) 8402 1913.
