Beat traffic... Travel by bike

There may be lots of road closures in Adelaide at the moment... but you can beat them when you travel by bike

Adelaide Fringe, Adelaide Festival, WOMAD, Clipsal - it's all happening through Feb/Mar and as we all know, these events can all cause significant delays on our roads (some more than others....)

Regardless, we choose to think of this time as a great excuse to dust off our treadly and get back in the saddle as there's nothing quite as satisfying as the feeling of cruising past banks of traffic-jammed cars with the breeze in your hair.

Specifically, road closures will be happening in the eastern suburbs from Wed 26th February to Sun 2nd March which will mean traffic delays for people mainly travelling to and from the City to Unley, Burnside, Norwood, Payneham and St Peters council areas.

Want to avoid the queues? Get on the bike!

For those who already ride a bike, check out this map as some existing bike pathways will be effected in the vicinity of a certain car-racing event. Also, keep an eye on this interactive map for more information on traffic delays as they occur.
